Swimming Lessons!

Jordyn's been taking swimming lessons this summer and has absolutely loved it! The experience for me however, hasn't been as fun. Kendall doesn't find much enjoyment out of watching her sister swim and would rather find a way to sneak out of the gate and over to the slide. I thought that maybe my problems would be solved if I signed her up for swim lessons at the same time! They only take them when they are three, but Kendall flirted her way in and did a fabulous job tonight! She loved the water and made me nervous with every jump and every time she decided to swing from the bars of the platform. My plan though of watching both didn't work out for tonight. I was a little too nervous to leave my fearless Kendall, even though there were two teachers and a lifeguard within arms reach! Good thing both grandma's came and were able to keep an eye on both girls!

Kendall loved them so much that when it was over she had a death grip on her teacher and wouldn't even come to me!

Nothing like a little silly time and ice-cream to get the tears to stop!

Father's Day and a new kitty!

Kendall also likes to show the kitty some of her 'silly' faces..

Happy Father's Day to Ron! The girls turned on their charm and convinced him that we had to take this little kitty home with us. He acts like he doesn't want it, but all they had to do was say "please daddy?" and he was getting a litter box picked out and all the other supplies we would need! He is proving to be the perfect little cat and has earned the name Oscar. Mom told Jordyn that is what my beloved kitty was named when I was little and that settled it. He is getting constantly tortured and yet surprisingly every time I go to rescue him he is still purring. Kendall even had him by the tail above the toilet yesterday and he still lets her hold him! Guess he saw that Kendall decided to color Bailey with pink and purple chalk yesterday and he knew he was in trouble! I think you can even hear him purring a little in the video :)

Side note, Jordyn lost tooth number EIGHT tonight. She is growing up way too fast. She is taking swimming lessons and doing fabulous. I will take pictures like a good mom soon!

Time out for Kendall...

Kendall isn't taking the time-out situation very well and it really makes her mad when I get the camera out!

Kendall's 2nd B-day

It has been 1 month and 20 days since I last blogged and we have a lot to get caught up on...To start off Kendall turned TWO on May 15th and we celebrated at one of Chelsie's softball tournaments and had a perfect day with family, friends, and cupcakes! I think I would freeze her at this age if I could. She is constantly making me laugh and even when she tries to throw a fit I think she is pretty funny. It might also be that no matter how dramatic her tantrum is, she will never out do her older sister! She is rough and takes a hard fall and just giggles. We did find out she is sensitive in one aspect, she reacted to the sunscreen that day and come to find out she has eczema. Truly the first medical dilemma that she has been in and again, it is nothing compared to Jordyn!
