At the last moment the house that we like to stay at down in Lincoln City was available and we jumped at the chance to go..well, not JUMPED, but we decided heck with it! We hadn't been down there since I was about 7 months pregnant with little Kendall Bug and since she is now three...it was time!
The girls were so excited and there isn't a better feeling in the world than when I see how excited they are about something. Especially when they find so much joy in just playing in the sand and hanging out with their mommy and daddy..we all know that the day will soon come when more will be required in order to see that kind of excitement! I can't even tell you how many times I tried to file away a memory this last week. We played games, we ate lots of chowder (thanks Mo's) and we laughed a lot.
Nothing but good times..if you don't count having to leave.
When we got home I downloaded pictures and played around with a new photo program. While playing around with this new photo program the laundry went undone, no dinner was served, and I am sure at some point my children were running around the neighborhood endangering themselves..but hey, I got some good pics!!

February...it has been a long time!
Telling by the date, you would say it has been a long time since I gave an update on the Murphy Family, but the weather says otherwise. We have had such a rainy and cold spring and start to summer...next week is looking better...hopefully!
Here is latest...
Kendall...always into something and has a sweet smile that gets her out of trouble. She is starting preschool next year at the high school and I am so sad to see my baby getting all big girl on me! She has no cares in the world and goes for it with all of her heart and laughs all the time..well most of the time, she is three!
Jordyn...is going to be in SECOND GRADE!! I can't believe it! She played softball this spring and was really excited. I had thought she would be my little art girl, but it turns out she might just be both!
Ron is still working crazy hours and fortunately likes his job. He starts school next week with City University in the area of school counseling.
Me..well...just finished my tenth year of teaching and I am moving up to 6th grade math next year. I am really excited and I am looking forward to September. I just finished up some classes so I could get to the Masters + 45 mark..gosh, can't believe I have been teaching that long.
Ron and I are celebrating TEN years of marriage this August and will probably celebrate by having a patio poured in the backyard and a trip to the beach with the girls and friends...not the most romantic, but it is what it is and I love our little life :)
I have confessed before that I know the point of the blog is to keep updating people, as in possible weekly or monthly, but right now I might be on a season by season update!
